While travelling through Europe, acclaimed American songwriter Andy Squyres has agreed to make a rare stop in Luxembourg for a small evening of songs, stories, and conversation.

We only just asked. Andy only just said yes. And now, rather unexpectedly, we have the chance to welcome one of America’s most distinctive songwriters to Luxembourg.
There was no long campaign or elaborate plan. Just a window in a European journey, a generous yes, and the possibility of gathering a roomful of people for something genuinely memorable.
Luxembourg does not get many evenings quite like this.

A rare little concert
Andy Squyres writes the kind of songs that reward careful listening: poetic, honest, funny, tender, and full of sharply observed details about being human.
Raised in Santa Cruz and now based in North Carolina, Andy began releasing music later in life, bringing years of experience to songs that feel lived-in rather than manufactured. His releases include Cherry Blossoms, Poet Priest, Miracle Service, Sacred Vows, and Praise Songs; alongside his music, his short-form writing and Poet Priest books have found an international audience.
While Andy is travelling in Europe, he has generously accepted our invitation to stop in Luxembourg for a small evening with friends. It is a genuine privilege to welcome him.
Come and listen
We are planning a relaxed, intimate listening-room-style evening. This will be more than a concert: after the music, there will be time for questions, stories, and relaxed conversation with Andy.
There is no admission fee. Just come, settle in, and enjoy a rare evening of songs and stories.

We are planning to begin at 20:00. We’ll confirm the arrival time and full programme by email.

A small, relaxed concert with songs and stories, followed by time for questions and conversation with Andy.
Can children attend?
We adore your children—but there will be no childcare at the venue, so the evening is best suited to adults. Older teenagers (around 15 and up) who are happy to sit through an evening of listening are very welcome; just include them in your party size.
